The shares of Blackstone Inc. slid almost 7% on Wednesday after United States President Donald Trump vowed to take action against institutional investors.
In a social media post, Trump revealed that he plans to ban big institutional investors from buying more single-family homes. Blackstone is believed to be an important player in the single-family rental (SFR) market.
The company's stock slid 6.92% at 12:58 pm ET, going for 151.3950 apiece.
