Airbnb (AIRB) and New York City are in settlement talks regarding an ordinance requiring home-sharing companies to turn over data on hosts and guests.
U.S. District Judge Paul Engelmayer in Manhattan
granted a request from the parties to pause the case while negotiations
take place. The judge wants an update in 30 days.
Last year, a preliminary injunction put the ordinance on hold while the case was ongoing.
