Citi (C) announced that it will move approximately 1,100 colleagues out of its space at One Court Square in Long Island City over the first half of next year to make room for Amazon (AMZN) to establish its new headquarters in New York. Citi currently occupies about one million square feet in One Court Square and is accelerating plans to consolidate colleagues at its Tribeca headquarters and other locations. About 3,000 Citi colleagues currently work in the building.
